Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FleetTec USA handles personal information through FleetTecUSA.com, its customer portal, and related service communications.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with FleetTec, we may collect:

• Business contact information, including names, job titles, telephone numbers, and email addresses.
• Account information, sign-in credentials in protected form, security settings, and account activity.
• Company, fleet, vehicle, trailer, equipment, and unit information that customers or FleetTec personnel enter.
• Estimates, invoices, purchase-order numbers, service records, messages, and related business communications.
• Technical and security records such as IP address, request time, browser information, sign-in attempts, and server logs.

Sources and purposes

We receive information directly from customers and their authorized users, from FleetTec personnel, and automatically from normal website and server operation. We use it to provide maintenance services, operate and secure accounts, prepare and retain service records, communicate about requested work, support customers, prevent misuse, and meet applicable business or legal obligations.

Cookies and tracking

The customer portal uses an essential, first-party session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated. FleetTec does not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral analytics. Because the site does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not change the site’s current behavior.

Disclosure of information

FleetTec does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to authorized users of the applicable customer account, service providers that support hosting or business email, professional advisers, or public authorities when reasonably necessary and permitted by law. Service providers may use information only to perform services for FleetTec under appropriate restrictions.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide service, maintain business and service history, secure the portal, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. FleetTec uses access controls, encrypted connections, restricted server access, backups, and other safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Authorized customer users can review and update certain contact and unit information in the portal. To request access, correction, deactivation, or deletion of other information, email contact@FleetTecUSA.com. Some records may need to be retained for service history, security, contractual, tax, or legal reasons. We may verify the requester’s identity and authority before acting.

Children

The website and customer portal are business services and are not directed to children under 13. FleetTec does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the portal.

Changes and contact
